We've Got The Key

"Awful experience from 1st contact. Scheduled for the day after call and waiting all day to here anything and only once I had continuously tried calling them and waiting up to an hour on hold did I finally hear that the job wasn't even scheduled for the day I was expecting. Call back the next day expecting a 1 hour window slot, only to be told that the job hadn't been processed and that it had been passed up to upper management and would let me know the time slot ASAP. After not receiving any phone call and in the meantime getting in contact with another company (car solutions) which were brilliant and had the job done within 2 hours, I then received a phone call saying the technician was at the job without any time slot given to me so kindly spoke to the technician to let him know he wasn't needed anymore. The whole procedure with we got your keys was appalling I would highly and strongly recommend never using this company unless you are not in any rush to have access to your car or house. And also paid £80 less with the car key solutions then we got your key"

"Excellent service. Lost keys whilst overseas and only realised when packing to return. We've got the keys was recommended by RAC. They couldn't have been more helpful and they had sorted the keys by the time I landed back in the UK. Great service throughout!"

"Used this firm in 2023. VW Caddy van, new ignition barrel, steering lock and 2 new keys. Total over £600. Not even 3 years later the same fault happens again. Turns out only the steering lock ever needed replacement. The guy (from a different lock smiths) said that the steering lock that 'We've got the key' installed, was a cheap chinese one without even a part number stamped onto it (as shown in pictures). New steering lock with different company only £280. Got completely ripped off by "We've got the key". I wish I could rate them with zero stars. Cheap parts used that dont last like they should. Total waste of money & I urge you not to use this company. Look elsewhere, there are plenty of local locksmiths that will do a proper job for alot less."

"I do not think I have ever experienced such unprofessional service. My horror story with this company is very long so I will keep it simple. Firstly, I booked an appointment at 12:00 midday and the guy arrived 4 hours later, not the 30 min response time they assured me of, meaning I got a parking ticket. Secondly, Charlie was very unprovessional and did not even know what he was doing, he was on the phone with some other bloke trying to figure out how to link the keys to my car even though they are supposed 'experts'. Thirdly, I was given only ONE key when I paid £354 for two of them, with no sort of refund or anything. Plus the key is cheap feeling with plastic instead of the metal, and has some random company on it rather than the renault logo as it should. Moreover, I asked for an invoice so my insurance company can cover the cost, which they did not provide and ignored my email. FINALLY, the ONLY KEY which is recieved is now BROKEN ONLY 3 DAYS AFTER, ALONG with my CAR LOCK. I have send them multiple emails about this and they are truly and utterly taking the piss in terms of not even responding. I do not wish such a horrid experience on anyone, as so please do not book with this company."
