"I had william the boiler engineer to do a repair and service on an ideal 30 watt combiboiler willam said i needed a new diverter loop and a diverter valve because although radiaters were ok hot water was running very cool and sometimes cold william duly showed up at approximatly 4 pm fitted new loop and diverter valve and said he done a service on my boiler This whole prceedure took 25 minuets i did ask the price of this job he told me he was nothing to do with pricing and that simon would send invoice i said ok whe invoice came it was £537 for atotal of 25 minuets work . I was furious but paid bill as i do not wish to have a bad name in paying bills 2 days later hot water was running cold again so i called william back i was angry at the size of the bill for 25 minuets work which included a service but a misdiagnosis of boiler fault but did nothing to cure our problem . I asked for a price of a new boiler from other companies and either a repair of old boiler or a new one 3 other companies had told me it is the heat exchanger and not diverter valves or loop and all 3 companies said i had been well and truly overcharged and fault was completly mis diagnosed . I have had a new boiler put in by another company from Colchester who was extreamly professional polite very clean and a very good price infact an extreamly good price . I showed invoice from S . Morris to me and they were disgusted with diagnosis and price and absolutly shocked at the fact that it took 25 minuets to perform and that 25 minuets included a service i have copies of invoice and proof of time spent in my house doing said job A very unhappy Keith Allen"
