GO Architecture

"We employed Go-Architecture on our house extension and remodelling works project at the start of 2025. Gareth helpfully came to the house and we talked through with him our initial thoughts and requirements and he also came prepared with potential alternative layouts which proved useful in deciding on a preferred layout. He was also very proactive in discussing alternative forms of construction / materials and finishes which we appreciated. The use of good quality 3D modelling and visualisation additionally gave confidence that the design met our aspirations and was a key benefit in our eyes. Whilst the overall Planning and Building Regs approvals process took longer than anticipated to resolve (due to some unforeseen objections and initial difficulties finding the right structural engineer), Gareth engaged with us to rework the relevant architectural aspects to our satisfaction and to resolve structural queries in liaison with the engineer. Gareth then assisted us with assembling a shortlist of builders and we are pleased that we have been able to appoint a builder to start work in Spring 2026. Overall we were very pleased with the service provided and associated costs. We would certainly be happy to recommend Go-Architecture based on our experience of the initial stages of this project."

"Gareth walked us through the design and planning application process of our house extension in a prompt and professional manner. He was happy to adjust plans at our request while clearly explaining the technical reasons for his design choices"

"Gareth and his team are great to work with on any house renovation or extension project. Gareth fully listens to what you're looking for, makes suggestion and liaises with relevant trades and the council for all the supporting documentation. Go Architecture is a must if you're planning a minor or major project as they will work with you every step of the way."

"I have used Go Architecture for two projects, one dealing with a listed property that we needed to have internal walls moved and the other is a small extension to our house. In both instances we were very concerned about the aesthetics but found Gareth to be very helpful (and patent!) to help us achieve this. If anyone asked me to recommend an architect I would point them straight at Go Architecture. Gareth was recommended to me from a friend and I am so glad they did. I have worked with architects in the past and some are great and some not, so I was glad to have their details passed on. Gareth has provided suggestions, visuals, plans, planning applications and building control for both projects plus English Heritage for the first one which all in all has made my life easy. I am certain that whatever project you may have it is worth asking Gareth. Simon Gordon"

"Excellent service from start to finish. Gareth was very attentive to what we wanted and was very thorough in the design. We needed drawings for a 7x4m kitchen extension. These were produced promptly and to a high standard. Gareth was also very helpful in helping us navigate the planning application, structural engineering and building regulations aspect of the design. Overall we are very happy with the result and hope to use Go-architecture again in the future. We would highly recommend."
